Aaron Norton
I’m passionate about our profession. Having gotten an early start in this field at the age of 20, I’ve enjoyed the privilege of working in a variety of residential and outpatient substance abuse, corrections, community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, and public health settings as a clinician and clinical supervisor for nearly 20 years. Currently, I work in private practice, where I specialize in LGBT issues, co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders, forensic evaluation, and clinical supervision. I also work part-time as a counselor educator at the University of South Florida’s CACREP-accredited Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program, where I am finishing up my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision.
