I have a Bachelor's in Business Management (with an equine specialization) and am currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling at University of Houston-Victoria. I am also certified to teach EC-6 (Generalist), 7th-12th (ELA), and English as a Second Language (ESL).
I have been an educator for the past 41/2 years. Before that, I spent 7 years as director of a PATH certified therapeutic riding program. I am currently pursuing a degree in both clinical and school counseling. I plan to obtain my LPC licensure in the Fall of 2018. I am eager to enter the counseling field where I can put to use the skills I already possess, as well as, gain more knowledge in order to become the best counselor I can be. My long term goal is to combine my love of teaching, horses and helping people by becoming a fully certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist.
