Professional Service and Leadership to a Chapter Award

Purpose of the Award

The Professional Service and Leadership to a State Chapter Award is intended to honor and recognize an AMHCA state chapter member whose dedication, energy, service, and leadership have strengthened the state chapter in such ways as: membership growth, innovative program development, increasing attendance at events, enhancing member services. Nominees should promote the goals and mission of his/her state chapter as well as the mental health counseling profession.

Criteria

  1. Submit a letter of nomination (no longer than 2 pages) describing the person you are
    nominating and why he/she is qualifies for the award.
  2. Nominee must be a member of AMHCA and their state chapter.
  3. Letter of endorsement from your state chapter and a brief resume.

Procedure for Nomination

Any person who is a current member of AMHCA may make a nomination. Clarity of presentation and complete and specific documentation of activities and a brief statement indicating why this individual should receive an award in this category.
