Bio

Dr. Stephen A. Giunta is the Clinical Supervisor for Troy University’s Tampa Bay campus. He has been a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and their Florida state chapter (FMHCA) since 1998. Dr. Giunta is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. He is a past president of AMHCA, FMHCA and the Tampa Bay regional chapter of FMHCA. He is a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Dr. Giunta maintains a small private practice in Clearwater, Florida providing clinical supervision, custody evaluation services and post-divorce family counseling. Prior to Troy University, Dr. Giunta held a number of clinical and administrative positions including director of program development for a community-based mental health agency.
